Indirecta: la otra forma es que esa gota caiga sobre una superficie, puede ser una mesa, un picaporte, un asiento de colectivo. Si tocamos esa superficie que tiene el virus y luego nos tocamos la cara podemos adquirir el virus.
¿Qué son los coronavirus?
Son una extensa familia de virus que pueden causar enfermedades respiratorias y afectan a numerosas especies de animales. En los humanos, producen desde enfermedades leves, como resfríos comunes, hasta cuadros más graves, como síndrome respiratorio de Oriente Medio (MERS) y el síndrome respiratorio agudo severo (SARS). El coronavirus que se ha descubierto más recientemente causa la enfermedad por coronavirus COVID-19
Síntomas
- Fiebre y tos.
- Fiebre y dolor de garganta.
- Fiebre y dificultad respiratoria.
Pueden ser más leves o más severos, dependiendo del estado general de la persona y, en casos extremos, si existen enfermedades preexistentes, puede ser mortal.
Puede afectar a cualquier persona, principalmente a mayores de 60 años y personas con afecciones preexistentes (como hipertensión arterial, diabetes, etc.). Extremar las medidas de prevención en estos casos.
